So I feel I need to get something off my chest and hey what better way then blog it? I just wanted to say that today would be my parents 29th anniversary, sadly my parents are going through a divorce which has been really hard on all of us! I love both my parents very much and I thought that you know I'm grown up and out of the house and my parents divorcing would not have a big affect on me....boy was I wrong!! I know my parents have had their ups and downs and there has been a lot of hurt feelings back and fourth and if divorcing is going to make them happier then I am glad that it is done. I just hope that they realize that they are both great parents and even better grandparents! We are very lucky to have eachother! And I hope that we can all be civil and happy again! I love both of you very much Mom and Dad and I hope that the future holds happiness and forgiveness :0)

This year has been a tough and interesting one! Well where to start? Lets see... Ember and Rusty moved in Christmas Day 07 and just barely moved out. We had our ups and downs I am just glad they have found happiness again!

I worked at SDCH hospital for a year and really miss it! I miss all the people there! I quit back in August and started watching kids! I have some great kiddies that I watch! 

Beckem turned one, Corben turned 5 oh my goodness they are a handful and sooo much fun!! They are my life! I love them with my whole heart!!

This economy has been very hard on us! The gas prices were horrible! Our house mortgage is so ridiculously high! And Nick's job is basically in construction so it hasn't been the greatest! 

Oh and biggest news this year..... Branum is having a baby! He and his cute girlfriend are expecting! ahhhh I know the youngest is now having a little one! It was so shocking Ash kept telling me to stop joking! We are all excited and can't wait! Congrats to them two!

So let me just say for 2009 I am hoping for..... Nick's job to pick up, me to be able to start school and get more money coming in, re-finance the house, get Nick's Bronco going, lose 29 pounds (hehe), try and keep me and my family healthy, create better memories!! There's a lot that I would like to happen this coming year! We will see...

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Derbidge's house for Christmas Eve. I always feel weird going over there because we are not the closest, but my Aunt Cheri always makes me feel like family!! After that we came home opened up one present and read a Christmas book! Put out a cookie and milk for Santa! We had fun!!

The boys had such a great Christmas! They loved all the presents!!  It was so nice! It was also a way white Christmas!! We went to breakfast to IHOP and got stuck for at least an hour!! It was soooo snowy!!

Twilight was sooo good!

Twilight was soo good last night!! Ok so now I am going to have to read the books! I thought the movie was really great and the actors were well picked! I can't wait for the other ones to come out! :0) Thanks Ali for taking me with you hehe and keeping you out way later because of my nonstop talking haha sorry! :0) 

Twilight?!

Yay my friend Ali asked me to go see Twilight tonight at midnight! I am excited though because I was thinking about going, but I didn't want to wait forever for a ticket! I haven't read the books yet, I want too so I need to borrow them from my mother-in-law! So let's see what all the hype is about eh?! haha... :0) 

New hair.. again

New hair for me again hehe... I got it cut and colored by my cousin Jen!! Yay I love it!! Don't mind the not ready me haha I look fabulous haha! 

Boomerang?!

Ok I felt sooo bad! One of our little neighbor boys had a boomerang, ya a boomerang and he threw it and poor Corben was right in it's path! He came crying inside and there was blood everywhere, all over his face all over his hands I was like Oh my heck what happened my heart was racing a million miles an hour! I thought for sure he would need a stitch or two, but it eventually stopped bleeding and all was okay! Scary! ... and to make it worse the night before the same little boy had a whip! Ya again Corben was in the path of that and got whipped across the neck with it and made a welt! Poor Corben just not his weekend! I was so mad after the boomerang I told Nick to go next door and get his parents! Those are toys that they just should not be playing with!! Yes they felt bad too and brought him some doughnuts the next morning! ... Don't let kids play with boomerangs! 

Obama our new president?!

Not such a great day for America! It will be interesting to see what happens in the next four years! I am a little nervous!! Nick keeps saying he is not "our president" Our president dropped out in February! I was talking to my sister Misty who was happy that Obama won, not because of Obama but because she said, McCain is in his 70's and if he was to die Palin would be president and Obama they say has a very high chance of being assassinated and Biden would be president and that was mostly what she was looking at because she can not stand Palin! I don't know much about politics I think I really need to study about it, but what I do know about some of Obama's views made me not want to vote for him! We need help! ha .... GOD BLESS AMERICA, MY HOME SWEET HOME! <3

Halloween..

On Halloween I had some of the kids and got them ready so when their parents came they went trick-or-treating... MaKayla (Minnie Mouse) and Matthew (Bumble bee) I thought they looked so cute!!
